1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the MyPawTribe application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
MyPawTribe is a social network for dog owners that allows discovering nearby dogs, making matches, exchanging messages, publishing content, finding pet-friendly places and joining group walks.
3. Registration and Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- The information provided must be true and up to date.
- Each person may have only one account.
4. User Content
- You retain ownership of the content you publish (photos, videos, texts).
- You grant MyPawTribe a license to display your content on the platform.
- It is forbidden to publish illegal, offensive, animal abuse content, or content that violates third-party rights.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules.
5. Premium Subscription
- Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe.
- Prices are shown on the Premium page of the app.
- You can cancel at any time. Premium access remains until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds follow Stripe and app store policies.
6. User Conduct
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Treat other users with respect.
- Not send spam, unwanted messages or unauthorized commercial content.
- Not use the platform for illegal purposes.
- Not attempt to access other users' accounts.
- Not use bots or automated tools.
7. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time. All associated data will be permanently erased, including dog profiles, posts, messages and matches.
8. Limitation of Liability
MyPawTribe is provided "as is". We are not responsible for interactions between users outside the platform, damages resulting from in-person meetings, or data loss due to circumstances beyond our control.
9. Changes to Terms
We may change these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Distribution via Google Play Store
By installing the app through Google Play, you additionally accept the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the Service.
12. In-App Purchases and Renewals
- Premium subscriptions are auto-renewing. You will be charged at the start of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in Profile → Premium → Manage Subscription, or via Google Play settings.
- Purchases made on iOS/Android can be restored from the same App Store / Google Play account.
13. Community Guidelines
By posting content, you agree to follow our guidelines:
- No content involving animal abuse, violence or torture.
- No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or stalking of other users.
- No nudity, explicit sexual content, or sexual material involving minors.
- No fraudulent schemes, illegal puppy mills selling, or solicitation of money for fake adoptions.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Portuguese and European Union law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, without prejudice to consumer rights.
15. Platform Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice, particularly in cases of fraudulent behavior or conduct that endangers other users or animals.
