Who this applies to

This page describes how to request deletion of your account and personal data associated with the MyPawTribe app (Android, iOS and Web).

How to request deletion

1. In-app (recommended)

Open MyPawTribe → Profile → Settings → Legal & Account → «Delete Account». Confirm the operation and your account is deleted immediately.

2. By email (if you can't access your account)

Send an email from your registered address with the subject «Account Deletion Request» to privacy@mypawtribe.com

What is deleted immediately

  • User profile (name, photo, bio, location)
  • Dog profiles (photos, info, badges, PawCoins)
  • Posts, comments, likes and mentions
  • Individual and community chat messages
  • Matches, super-likes and swipe history
  • Photos and videos hosted on Cloudflare R2

What we temporarily retain (legal obligation)

Certain data is retained for a limited period due to tax, accounting and security obligations:

  • Stripe invoices and payment records: 10 years (Portuguese Tax Code)
  • Security logs and IPs: 90 days
  • Encrypted backups: purged in the next rotation cycle (max. 30 days)

Response timeline

In-app requests are processed immediately. Email requests are answered within 30 days, as required by GDPR. We will confirm deletion by email.
